documents obtained during the raid on osama bin laden's residence in pakistan turned up information of plans for new attacks on american soil. the "wall street journal" reports bin laden was recruiting members for a terror strike on this year's 10th anniversary of the september 11th attacks. the plot was in the early planning stage and there is no indication that it progressed further than that. and authorities suspected al qaeda prefers to carry out attacks on dates with a symbolic significance. >> after two days of testimony a mistrial declared in the roger clemens trial today. and he is charged with lying to congress about using steroids. andy pettitte was scheduled to testify against him, but pettitte's wife was ruled out as a witness. so when prosecutors play aid tape today in which mrs. pettitte was mentioned a judge said that clemens could not be assured of getting a new trial. >> langs police detectives have gone to las vegas to interview the girlfriend of the main suspect in the beating of giants fan brian stow. they didn't know where to find her until police arrested her on drug ch
